Import a CSV
Upload a spreadsheet from Card Ladder, PCVault or another app, map columns, review and import.
You will learn
- Which files PCVault recognizes
- Map columns once
- Handle possible duplicates and failed rows
1Open Import
Go to Import and choose Add new cards. Drop or choose your CSV.
2Know the supported files
PCVault recognizes the PCVault export, Card Ladder export, Card Ladder collection export, PSA Set Registry export, Beckett, SportsCardsPro, Collectr, TCDB, eBay Seller Hub listings, Ludex and CardStock. Any other CSV works: PCVault guesses the columns.
3Map columns
Check the Map step and fix any column PCVault guessed wrong. It remembers your mapping for next time.
4Review duplicates
Rows marked Possible duplicate in this file or Possible duplicate of a card you have can be imported anyway or skipped.
5Import and watch the steps
After import, each card is matched, priced, given sales, photos and a slab check. Rows that fail can be downloaded as failed-rows.csv to fix and re-import.
Watch out: On Free you can import up to your 15 active card limit.
Common mistakes
- Importing the same file twice without reviewing the duplicate flags.
- Leaving the player column unmapped.
Questions
- Is what I paid kept private?
- Yes. Purchase price, date and notes go into private fields only you can see.
